If you are looking for healthy organic, local and natural food you will find it at the Fresh Sourdough Express. The well-known eatery has been around since 1982 serving healthy hearty Alaskan Cuisine. The Bakery Cafe is open seasonally,  April - early Oct. In season they provide a fantastic breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. They also offer box lunches and welcome to-go orders.

Specialties include thick milkshakes, terrific smoothies and organic espresso drinks. Most of the food served is either local or organic. The seafood dinners are superb and affordable.

There is a great sandbox in the front yard for kids to be entertained and the original Sourdough Express Van where the bakery /cafe first started out of is parked in the front for kids to play in.
