Visitors to Mesa, Arizona have plenty of options throughout the year to experience a variety of unique events and festivals.  

            The Show Up Website is a great place to find information about the many cultural events held throughout the greater Phoenix area.  The Music section of this site has information about the various acts that are coming through the area, and range from classical symphonic performances, to rock and roll shows and outdoor festivals.  Other sub sections on this site are: visual arts, dance, theater, film, video, and more.  The Festivals link has information about all of the big events coming through the area, including the 5th Annual Red Rocks Music Festival. This chamber event will mainly feature tango at the 2006 festival (held on September 2nd).

            Witnessing the 4th of July fireworks show in Mesa is a great way to end a day of celebration.  The show is organized by Sertoma Club of Mesa, and it begins about a half hour after it gets dark.

            The Mesa Merry Main Street Celebration is the city’s largest and most elaborate seasonal festival.  It is generally held during a Friday in the first week of December.
