There are many restaurants and wine bars in the Phoenix area. The best with a trendy scene in Phoenix is Postino WInebar. They have an ecletic menu with a great atmosphere, great wine choices and the best mood. It is located at the corner of 40th Street and Campbell just south of Camelback Road.

In that same area is The La Grande Orange Pizzeria and Grocery another hit. The same owners have a new restaurant called Chelsea's Kitchen on the other side on Camelback. They have a great patio with bar for a nice dinner.

A great well kept secret in a little restored farmhouse on 16th Street also just south of Camelback is Coup des Tartes.....this place has a seasonal menu that changes often. It is a BYOB restaurant and the food is to die for! As well as the treats for dessert that make this a gem of a french reastaurant not to be missed.

The Merc Bar at 24th Street and Camelback is a dark loungy type place to enjoy a cocktail in the hip Phoenix area.

The downtown area is also developing and turning into a more inviting area. Pizzeria Bianco and Cibo Pizzeria are both hot spots with definite character in the downtown artsy scene.There is also a wine bar in that area Cheuvront Wine Bar on Central Avenue.
