Cambria is located on scenic Highway 1 just a few miles south of Hearst Castle and Big Sur.  Cambria is actually two charming villages: the older historic “ East Village” and the newer “ West Village ”. Originally a farming town, both parts are now filled with interesting art galleries, boutiques, wine tasting and romantic restaurants. Moonstone Beach and Moonstone Beach Boardwalk offer great scenic views of the Pacific and beach. Nearby Hearst Castle offers a variety of year-round and seasonal tours. Cambria is very near the beginning of Highway 46 West, known for its many wine tasting rooms as it leads into nearby Paso Robles and Templeton. The cozy Pewter Plough Playhouse presents shows performed by talented locals. There is a Friday afternoon Farmers Markets year-round, and several downtown events through the year.   Cambria offers many charming B&B’s and mid-price to premium motels.
