When it comes to using the web as a resource for travel advice, there is no shortage of La Jolla sites geared towards visitors.

The La Jolla Town Council offers information for visitors, as well as local residents.

La Jolla By the Sea is currently under-going reconstruction by the La Jolla Village Merchants Association. Right now it offers some beautiful images, but the content is out of date.

LaJolla.com provides a menu of accommodations, activities, attractions, etc, but it is also out-of-date and contains more than a few inaccuracies. For instance, it is not true that  "La Jolla" means "The Jewel" in Spanish.

La Jolla Blue Book business directory is what locals have used since the 1930s to find La Jolla businesses. Their info is complete and accurate; they have great visitor content; and you can find any type of La Jolla business, not simply hotels and restaurants. Their website is mobile which is cool, and they have a free "Find La Jolla" iPhone app.
