LA is the second largest city in the United States of America, located on the west coast of the state of California. A visit to the city often involves visiting cities and counties outside of LA.

There are 100s of attractions in the City and surrounding areas.  Popular theme parks (which are all outside of the city of L.A.) include: Disneyland, Universal Studios Hollywood, Disney's California Adventure, and Six Flags Magic Mountain.

Outlet malls in the region include: Desert Hills Premium Outlets in Cabazon (about a 2 hour drive east of central Los Angeles), the Outlets at Orange (about a 1 hour drive southeast of central L.A.), The Citadel (about a 40 minute drive east of central Los Angeles) and the Camarillo Premium Outlets (about a 1 hour drive west of central L.A.)

If you want to buy luxury items at retail price, you can go to Rodeo  Drive in Beverly Hills. There, you can find upscale merchandise from such designers as LV, Dolce and Gabana, Gucci, Dior, etc.  The Beverly Center Mall in the Beverly Grove area of L.A. (just east of Beverly Hills) also offers upscale, brand-name merchandise.

The city of L.A. has hundreds of attractions.  Outside of L.A., in adjacent counties, there is even more to discover.  For example, to the southeast of L.A., in Orange County are a number of beach communities.  One such communitiy is Laguna Beach.  You'll find a slower, gentler way of live and perhaps, a beautiful sunset there.

The region has so many kinds of foods.  You should try burritos (a Mexican food) and also an 'animal burger' at "In and Out" ( fast food hamburger chain restaurant), Don't forget the fries!
