With its wooden floor, whitewashed walls, Vivify boasts a casual yet simple elegance. As soon as you walk in, the chef, Sachio, and his wife, Ayako, greet you from the kitchen. They are the long-time (23 years) proprietors of the Geary St. sushi restaurants, Kabuto and Kabuto A&S (Ayako & Sachio), in San Francisco. And they have transplanted their appreciation of elegance and good food 5 hours to the north to be where the air is clear and the water is delicious. The food is organic, with great attention to it's healthfulness, without any sacrifice of flavor or aesthetics and the decor is similarly charming.
