Pipes Cafe newport beach is a the 3rd to be opened in a chain of restaurants. All 3 restaurants are owned by local surfers and it's named after a san diego surf spot. It has a real laid back feel to it and the service is excellent.

So here's the deal, when you walk in youll see a coffee bar, and usually a long line of local surfers waiting to get some grub. Breakfast is served all day long 7-3 (the hours of store). The number one items on the menu are there burritos. They are immaculate and raved about in all of newport beach. They also have a killer lunch burger and several other great b-fast items. Every portion of food is large and you'll probably need a to-go bag. If you enjoy watching surf videos, you would probably like eating here.

It's a very family friendly restaurant, seeing as the owner of this particular location has kids of his own. You can't go wrong with pipes cafe! The newport location has been open since January and now it's one of the most hopping places in town! The restaurant is about 5 minutes from the beach and the motto is "no shoes no shirt no problem".
