Most visitors flock Palm Springs to golf.  There are hundreds of beautiful golf courses in Palm Springs.  As some would say, Palm Springs is the "golf capital of the world." 

If your idea of vacation is to sit by the pool and sunbath, Palm Springs is the place to go. But be sure to put on lots of suntan lotion.  In the summer, the weather can reach over 100 degrees.  In the winter, nights are mostly cool but days can reach 80 degrees.  Because of this nice winter weather, many visit Palm Springs to sunbath in the winter time.

While you are relaxing by the pool, don't forget to visit one of the many wonderful spas Palm Springs has to offer. Get a massage, get mani/pedi... Some resorts offer outdoor massages, so check with your hotels.. while you are getting a massage, you can enjoy the beautiful nature all around you... just relax, after all you are in Palm Springs!!!  

And for nature, check out local tours -you could try a Hummer tour to Joshua Tree National Park. You can go day or night - night is cool for the summer. The vehicles are climate controlled anyway.  They use blacklights which illuminate the scorpions and night vision equipment. Very cool! They go up to higher elevations so it is usually 20 degrees cooler than in Palm Springs.
