If you've ever been to the Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) you know the terminal is small and quaint. There is a NEW terminal as of October 2011! It has not lost that Santa Barbara charm and there's lots of local art. Look for the beautiful tile mandala at the north entrance that features local sights. See the iron kelp railing viewed from the lobby or second floor. Look for the mural that is a replica of a lost fiesta poster. The upstairs offers a great viewing vantage of arriving and departing flights. And while upstairs, enjoy the new restaurants. The giftshop has a nice selection of local gifts for its size and lots of goodies to take on the plane (or home for a gift).
