This is a great way to spend a few hours in Santa Cruz.  Go wine tasting - there are a few great locations through out the Santa Cruz area.  However, a favorite is a quick drive up the coast in scenic Bonny Doon to the Beauregard Vineyards tasting room.  Rain or shine the Beauregard tasting room is full of friendly staff that are all hands on when it comes to this small family owned and local winery.  On the weekends they even offer cheese plates to share!
