"A Taste of Colorado" is held right in Downtown out in the park. It is a 4 day event beginning the Friday before Labor Day and ending around 8pm on Labor Day itself. One will find numerous booths with so many different kinds of wonderful food, everything from huge turkey legs to fried alligator tail to spiced almonds, you name it! They also have a variety of different bands that play over the weekend, from Jazz to Rock to Oldies so there is truly something for everyone.
Aside from the "Taste", Denver and Colorado as a whole, has some sort of festival almost every month, especially during the spring/summer.
