There are over 200 restaurants to choose from in Destin. From very casual and inexpensive to formal and pricey. All types of food can be found, Thai, Oriental, Mexican, All American, but everyone's favorite is, of course, Seafood. There is an abundance of Seafood restaurants to choose from in all locations. Many restaurants are located on the water in the Harbor as well as on the beach, but don't discount the inland restaurants. Some of them are quite good.

At the east end of town, on the north side of Highway 98, you won't want to miss McGuire's Irish Pub & Brewery, an entertaining Irish eatery whose walls are covered with memorabilia and whose ceiling contains several hundred thousand one dollar bills.  Further east, across from the Sandestin Hilton, is a development containing Baytowne Wharf, an area of shops, fine restaurants, and live musical entertainment.
