South Beach is many things to many people. To some it is their home or place of work. To others a place to party. For the typical tourist it is a place to lose yourself and enjoy. South Beach is fun.

Are the restaurants along Ocean Drive hard to tell apart? They sure are and most of them serve the same food. Stroll by their hostess urging you to look at the menu and say "maybe later".

The place vibrates with life. Sit outside, order a drink and people watch. Blade or run the board walk and be the one people are watching. You can walk the beach for miles.

There are great places to eat. A Fish Called Avalon is a wonderfull seafood restaurant. Gloria Estavans's Hotel fuses Cuban and Oreintal food and it works. Grazie not only serves great Italian food, but there wait staff make you feel like a family.

A stay in SB is not over till you had a night at Mangos. Just come late and  stand at the bar, and get into the groove.

South Beach welcomes everyone, just open your mind and be.
