The Central Florida area is policed by various public safety agencies including city police, highway patrol, and county sheriff departments, in addition to these departments, most major theme parks and resorts also have their own private security forces that assist with on-property security needs and monitor public safety. Just as in any major city or tourism destination, it is very important to always be aware of your surroundings and be a vigilant traveler at all times. Here is a listing of local public safety agencies, main jurisdiction areas, and non-emergency contact information:
Orlando Police - (321) 235-5300 - Universal Area / North I-Drive / Downtown Orlando / Mall at Millenia Area
Orlando Police Airport Division - (407) 825-2065 - Orlando International Airport (MCO)
Orange County Sheriff - (407) 254-7000 - Disney Area / South I-Drive / Convention Center / SeaWorld Area / Other Areas

In the event that any member of your party becomes ill, needs over the counter medication, or needs any type of first aid or medical assistance within a theme park; be sure to utilize the First Aid Center which is available to all guests free of charge at all the theme parks and normally have a Registered Nurse (RN) on duty that can assist with minor medical care. The First Aid Center is most usually marked by a Medical cross symbol on the park maps, you can also ask any park staff member and they will direct you there. The centers are also available as a helpfull resource for guests with planned medical needs, including complimentary storage of important medicine such as insulin for diabetic guests.
Florida Hospital Centra Care is the region's largest operator of urgent care centers with convenient locations throughout Orlando, some locations are open 24 hours a day and can provide complimentary transportation arrangements to/from your resort hotel if you call them in advance and make an appointment, though appointments are not required to be seen. Centra Care locations have on-site physicians, medical staff, and facilities that can handle non-emergency urgent care needs and treat many illnesses and injuries.
For minor illnesses and basic first aid, Minute Clinic locations are available at select CVS Pharmacy stores and normally have a Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) on duty to assist with basic medical information. This is an alternative to urgent care centers for minor needs, if you have a more severe illness or injury that requires urgent attention you should instead visit either an urgent care center or of course a local hospital if it is an emergency.
In addition to the services above, there are also a variety of more alternate services such as on-call Physician services that can provide treatment inside your hotel room, see your hotel concierge desk for more information.
