O'Steen's Restaurant is a family owned and operated restaurant that has been a fixture on Anastasia Island for many years.  Known locally for their fried shrimp, (peeled, deveined, butterflied, battered and fried on the premises) they also have a devoted following for many other items on the menu.  The hush-puppies are almost as famous as the shrimp.

Come prepared for a wait for tables, particularly during peak meal hours.  They do have a antiques store connected to the restaurant where you can while away the time and not miss your name being called over the loudspeaker.  FYI - the restaurant does not accept credit cards.
