There are a few ways for visitors to get to Camden , which include by car, bus or plane.

Driving is a way of life in the United States , and road tripping is standard practice.  Driving to Maine can be a great way to see much of the country, if time allows.  Out of country visitors should however look at this Driving in the US page before deciding to get behind the wheel of a car.  Accurate driving directions along with maps can be found for free at the Mapquest website.

The Greyhound Bus Company has hundreds of routes that link many areas in the US , Mexico , and Canada .  This is a good option for seeing the landscape of the passing countryside, but much money won’t be saved, as bus and plane tickets have become relatively comparable.

There are four airport options that visitors can fly into:

The Portland International Jetport is located about an hours drive southwest of Camden .  Limousine and taxi services are available to Camden .

The Bangor International Airport is located about an hours drive north of Camden .  Again, limousine and taxi services are available to Camden .

The Knox County Airport is located just outside of Rockland , and is only minutes from Camden .  This is a regional airport, and is smaller than the others mentioned.

The Boston Logan Airport is the largest airport in the area.  There are regular bus services that run between the airport and the city of Camden .
