There's tonnes to do and always a great time...

The Pier- lots of shops and take out restaurants, over hanging the ocean..unique!  Get a henna tatoo, a portait drawn, or  t-shirt made

Palace Playland- right on the beach, rides and games for everyone.  For an interesting  keepsake you can get your picture taken, dressed up in old western clothes, the kids will love it.  The arcade...You can't go there without getting in a few games of ski-ball, though :)

The Beach- This speaks for itself.  Always clean, 7 miles of sand and surf.  Great for families, singles or couples.

Lodging- An abundance of hotels, motels, Inns and cottages..to suite every budget.   Nice capgrounds to chose from as well.

Shopping-  Other than on the 'main drag'-  head to Portland and check ou the Maine Mall, The Christmas Tree shop and tonnes of restaurants.  Try the Old Country Buffet and On The Boarder ( mexican).  The IHOP is in the area and always a crowd pleaser.  If you have little ones travelling with you check out the "Bugaboo Lodge".... they'll love it.

More fun-

FunTownUSA in Saco, a short drive for rides and games in a really well kept amusement park.  Next door is Splash Town, with water slides and pools.  Head early to avoid the line ups though!

Deep Sea Fishing, Whale Watching, Lobster Trapping are great for a group or a couple to do.  A little pricey but lots of fun....

In Portland check out the Narrow Gauge Railroad and take a short train ride.  Again, fun for kids and relaxing for the adults.

Weekly fireworks down on the Pier.  Grab a slice of Lisa's pizza or fried dough and watch from there or take a blanket and head to the beach and watch the display.

A trip to OOB just wouldn't be the same without a round of mini golf at Pirates Cove!!

Lots more to do, just keep your eyes open and you'll always find something new!
