Lucy Vincent Beach is privately owned, and restricted to residents of the town of Chilmark, from June 1 to Sept 30.

In the Summer,  vehicle access requires a parking permit, and pedestrians must show a town issued photo ID.  Clothing optional section on eastern end of beach is spectacular, tranquil and lovely.
