History featuers highly on the calendar of events in Lee, Massachusetts. A few highlights include:

Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival -- this annual event held in June and July each year features a number of dance performances from local, regional, and international performers. Along with ticketed events, there are also a number of free performances and lectures during this two-month long event.

Tanglewood Festival -- during the summertime, a number of concerts, performances, and other festivals are held at Tanglewood, located nearby to Lee in Lenox, Mass. Tanglewood offers you the chance to catch a world-class Boston Symphony Orchestra concert when traveling within the region during the summertime.

Founders'  Weekend  -- held the last weekend of September, this annual event features parades, music, arts and crafts, tag, and sidewalk sales, and plenty of food. A walking tour to point out the town's historical sights is also offered during the weekend.

Fall Foliage Train Ride -- this annual event held in October, sponsored by the Lee Chamber of Commerce and others, features a train ride between Lee and Stockbridge, during which you can enjoy the fall foliage from inside your train car.
