The Dolphin Fleet of Provincetown runs a regularly scheduled trip from the quay in Provincetown. The schedule is weather dependent, but they are quite happy to reshedule, combine trips or offer refunds depending on how you booked. The trips are professionally narrated, and very safe for young families, every effort is made to make the whole trip interesting, even while travelling out to the sighting area. once there the experienced captains know how to maximize your experience by gettign up close to feeding whales.

Also offered during the trip is a DVD containing footage of your trip Unless you forgot your own camera, you may wamt to pass on the offer; the DVD's are low quality and include some stock footage explaining more about the whales, but the footage of your trip is unlikely to be edited, and contain footage that is not relevant to the trip.

Like everywhere else in Provincetown, don't bother driving to the docks on Ryder Street. Enjoy your stroll down Commercial Street to the wharf. There are small booths located in the middle of the wharf to buy your tickets. It's recommended that you call ahead of time for seat availability and that you eat a few hours before your deaprture time.
