Sandwich is a somewhat quiet location so there aren’t a lot of places right within the city for enjoying a really active night on the town.  However, there are a few different places throughout the town where travelers can get their drink on.  Two favorite watering holes are Bobby Byrne’s Pub and the British Beer Company which are located just down the street from one another on Route 6A.  Other local favorites include the Sandwich Taverna, Amari's in East Sandwich and Aqua Grillle on the Canal.

Visitors who are looking for something more active than what is offered with Sandwich will find that it doesn’t take too long to drive to a Cape Cod town with a busy nightlife.  Falmouth is 20 minutes away and has a number of hot spots to dance and sing along with a guitar. The Courtyard Pub in Catumet (a village in Bourne) would be the first stop along Rte 28A. Next is the Beach House in North Falmouth for dancing. In town, you could hang ot at Grumpy's - a classic down and dirty blues bar. Along Main Street look for Liam Maguires Irish Pub for nightly sing-a-longs. The Casino RX is in Falmouth Heights and offers music with an amazing view of the ocean. Finally, across the street is another British Beer Company. The most active town is Provincetown , known for its gay bars which are friendly for people of all orientations.  Provincetown is located approximately an hour’s drive away from Sandwich making it feasible to go take advantage of the nightlife there.  Of course, travelers who are willing to spend an hour driving to get some night action might as well consider heading up to Boston to take advantage of the active nightlife there.
