The weather in Battle Creek is temperate, which means that the city experiences four, distinct season changes.  Although it can be visited throughout the year, certain months can be much more comfortable than others.   

            Although the temperatures during the summer months are not extremely high, the humidity makes it feel hotter than it is.  On average, the hottest months of the year are July and August, during which time the daily high temperatures will generally hover in the low to mid 80’s.  90-degree days although rare, do occur.  The nighttime temperatures during these months will generally drop to the upper 50’s.  The summer months generally see the most tourism.   

            Winters in Battle Creek can get rather cold.  The coldest months of the year on average are January and February, during which time the daily high temperatures will reach only the lower 30’s.  The nighttime temperatures during these months will generally stay well below 20-degrees.

            Late spring and early fall are perhaps the nicest times of the year to visit Battle Creek .  The temperatures are mild, and the changing leaves in the forests are beautiful.
