Dearborn is located only ten miles away from Detroit (The Motor City), and it is no surprise that there are numerous museums and attractions around the city that deal with cars.

The Henry Ford is made up of a combination of four tourist attractions, which include the Henry Ford Museum, Greenfield Village, tours of the Rouge factory, and the IMAX Theater.  The Henry Ford Museum started out as the pet project of Mr. Ford back in the early 1900’s, when he began collecting interesting, historical objects.  The Greenfield Village is a collection of historical buildings, aimed to display how Americans lived in the early years of the country.  The Rouge factory is where the popular Ford F-150 is built.  Daily tours are offered to the public.  The IMAX Theater is a recent addition to the grounds, and has been popular with the public.

The Henry Ford Estate is the last home in which Mr. Ford lived in.  The home has been declared a National Historical Landmark, and offers tours of its grounds to the general public.  A restaurant and gift shop are present on the estate.

The Automotive Hall of Fame is another attraction around the Dearborn area.   Here, one can find information about the great people that made Detroit what it is today.
