St. Paul has a lively performing arts scene. The St. Paul Chamber Orchestra is world renown. The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, where the chamber orchestra often performs, is also the venue for Broadway shows, musical events, theatrical productions and the Minnesota Opera. The XCel Energy Center, home to the Minnesota Wild hockey team, hosts rock concerts and other musical events (the Three Tenors have sung here). Here are some Web sites:

www.stpaulartcrawl.org : The St. Paul Art Crawl is a lot of fun and a good way to meet local artists.
www.stpaulfarmersmarket.com : This is the most fun thing to do on a Saturday morning in St. Paul. All the produce is locally grown and the offerings include great bread, croissants, coffee with real cream, pastries, fruits and vegetables in season and lots of flowers. Musical ensembles entertain the crowd, and it's great for people watching.
