Surrounded by gently rolling terrain, Kansas City is located in the southern plains of the United States. It is situated on the south bank of the Missouri River at the Missouri-Kansas state line. Winter brings frequent and rapid fluctuations in weather and temputure with both mild days and cold days, along with streches of both wet and dry weather, most snow falls in january and februrary and is genrally wet and melts off fast. Summer is characterized by hot hummid days and warm nights with frequent thunderstorms that genrally pop up during the heating of the day in the afternoon and clear out by evening. Fall is genrally mild and dry except during active hurricane seasons in the gulf of mexico which will genrally bring lots of rain and flooding. Spring is mosly mild and severe weather outbrakes are common.
