Although an important percentage of Princeton's population comes from other states and stay for a certain period of time creating a mobile culture, festivals still reflect the region's history, traditions and community values. Let's take a look at some of Princeton's annual and monthly events: "In his footsteps" Thomas Paine Historical Walk (Paine, being an Englishman who took a leading role in the Wars for American Independance); Terhune Orchards Blueberry Bash in June (a great opportunity to enjoy a farm day while you pick blueberry or enter the Blueberry bakery contest); Annual Apple Day at Terhune Orchards (witness the harvest as it was performed in the old days while you engage in real farm activities, dance to traditional bands, and eat traditional American cooking -roasted pork and apple pies, yes, as you see it in the movies-); Historic Princeton Walking Tour every Sunday; and Afternoon Tea at Chauncy Conference Center (enjoy a real 5'o clock English tea).

Other non- recurring events include Songs of Shakespeare at Westminster College, Westminster Bell Choir Spring Concert, Lawrenceville Main Street Extreme Makeovers House Tour, Women in Princeton's History (a guided walking tour organized by the Historical Society of Princeton), and Historical Society Presidential House Tour that will take the visitor to Princeton historic homes, among many other events.
