"The Durham Convention & Visitors Bureau (DCVB) is a local tourism development authority chartered by state and local government in cooperation with the private sector to attract and serve visitors to the City and County of Durham by reinvesting a portion of the visitor-paid “room occupancy and tourism development tax” in promotion and marketing.
The Durham Convention & Visitors Bureau (DCVB) is thecommunity's way to attract and serve visitors. Offices are located at 101 East Morgan Street, Downtown Durham, Exit 177 off I-85. The Durham Visitor Information Center is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Phone - (800) 446-8604 (toll free) and local - (919) 687-0288. A kiosk is set up outside for visitors to receive information after hours and on weekends."
