This is a great place to go if youre looking for a sub (or wedge as the insiders know), a hot dish, breakfast, or something to take home for the family.

They offer a wide variety of subs from just a ham and swiss, to the ever popular italian combo ( a delicious blend of ham, mortadella, genoa salami, and provolone) They also have a hard to beat chicken salad, a juicy philly cheese steak,  or authentic chicken parm to name a few. Looking for something a bit more exotic? Try a parma prosciutto wedge with fresh mozzerella (made in store), roasted red peppers, and a bit of balsamic vinegar for a real italian experience. 

They also serve up many different  hot dishes, from the every day offers of chicken parm, eggplant parm, meatballs, and a pasta (usually baked ziti, manicotti, or stuffed shells) to the 2 weekday specials that change every day. These can be anything from chicken marsala, meatloaf, peppers and sausage, stuffed turkey, veal parm, chicken francaise, mac and cheese, chicken cacciatore, chicken scarpata,stuffed peppers, etc.
Special notes: Thursday is lasagna day, and on friday they offer strombolis.

Bottles of wine are sold to be taken home or enjoyed with your in store meal and wine "glasses" can be provided upon request. 

In addition they have their lunch sautees, made fresh to order by the chef until 4pm everyday except sunday. Amoung their most popular are the alfredos, steak or turkey phillies, shrimp scampi, or any of their grilled or blackened salads. Want something out of the ordinary? The Pasta Cabanaro is pasta with bacon, onions, and alfredo sauce.

With the kids? They can do grilled cheese, bologna and american, or a hotdog wedge, though the meatballs with pasta tend to win over the pickiest of children.

The desert chocolate mousse, tiramisu, brownies, and pistachio cake are all made on site. The cookies are shipped in from where else but new york.

Don't have time to eat in the store? Grab one of their cold dishes, a salad, loaf of bread, dry pasta, and dessert. Pop the dish in the oven, and boil water for the pasta. Within the hour you'll have a hot and delicious meal with little effort, but all the taste!

The prices are going to be higher than your average fast food affairs, but you're paying for high quality ingredients and made from scratch/freshly sliced items.


First timer tips:

Looking for something special or ordering a large order? They generally get a huge lunch rush, so call to get the daily specials and pre order if possible.

Where to place the order? The steam table where the hot dishes are located is generally the front of the line. Even if youre sitting down you place your order there, then pay and seat yourself.

Cant find something? Ask the staff and if they dont have it, the owners will try to point you in the right direction.

Overwhelmed with choices? Ask the staff for their personal favorites.

In a big group? Order with one or two employees tops to avoid confusion and double ordering items.

Whats a wedge? Its just a sub. A roll is a smaller round shaped roll. All their bread is fresh baked daily.

The store also features a deli with a full line of sclafani products, a variety of cheeses,deli meats, catering, and specialty items. Great place to eat, browse, or stock the pantry/fridge.
