Ponte Vecchio means "old Bridge" This restaurant is located on the superior viaduct which is an old stone bridge, that used to be a trolley bridge. This restaurant was named by the Cleveland's Plain dealer to have the best view of the city of Cleveland. It has granite tables, hard wooden chairs, exposed pipes, and beautiful wood floors. The food has a northern italian influence, but is fused with American techniques. They have a nice wine selection composed not only of Italian wines, but also french, german, californian, and australian. It is definitely an upscale restaurant, but no formal dress code is required. Prices per entrees range from about $19 to about $30, but half portions are available for the Pasta Selections. Ponte Vecchio Website
