Warner Canyon Ski Area is a great low cost place to ski and snowboard. The ski area has a variety of runs for all skill levels from beginner to advance. Surrounding the ski area are many areas for cross country skiing.
The parking lot is very close to the lodge so it is not a long hike to and from the car. Prices are very affordable with a day lift ticket for an adult being only $30; half day and children tickets are available. Lift lines are nonexistent and there is no line for getting tickets at the start of the day. The chair is three person so it is ideal for teaching youngsters how to ride a lift.
Skis and Snowboards are available in Lakeview at M and D rentals in Lakeview. If you stay in Lakeview it is only a ten minute commute to the ski area! Prices for food items are reasonable (full lunch costs about four to five dollars) and Warner Canyon offers free ski lessons on most Saturdays.
This is a great place for families - you can spend two days skiing with accommodations for the price of one day of skiing at the larger resorts.
