If you are in town for short period of time, perhaps your best bet is to buy the Cherricard that gives 11 rides for the price of ten.

 

Chemeketa Area Regional Transportation System (CARTS) buses run throughout Salem and the surrounding rural communities like Silverton, Woodburn, the Sanitam Canyon, Dallas, Monmouth & more.  Schedule and pricing info can be found on www.cherriots.org or by calling the 503-588-2877. Salem-Keizer Transit also includes Cherriots Rideshare. This includes a variety of programs to promote alterative means of transportation that includes bicycling, carpooling, vanpooling, free wheel, walking, emerency ride home, employer programs and telework among other options.
