The "dyanamite" heading refers to a part of Hayle Towans that has quite a fascinating history that dates back to WW1, here {see photo's} a massive area was used to produce explosives for the war effort. These many anti blast walls are now splendid for a sheltered BBQ (Please clear up after your visit) or picnic.

On your way to the Sandsifter Pub/Restraunt you will also see a small bird sanctuary,in the evening the area if full of wild life (Hundreds of Rabbits as well as Birds,and the occasional Fox out shopping for dinner).

So if staying at one of the beach camp sites or visiting one of the two Restraunts at Godrevy, take a walk along this area, then go for a swim.Try fishing from Godrevy or the beach,occasionally you will catch a fine sea bass....
