Spring Tours of Beaufort’s historical Colonial homes and plantations are sponsored by St. Helena ’s Episcopal Church on a weekend in March. Cost of a tour is $25 for tours by candlelight and $35 plantation tours.

May

The Gullah Festival is an annual event that occurs each May which celebrates the rich cultural history of the Sea Island ’s African-American population. Live music, art displays, and dancing all are featured at this event.

November

The Beaufort Fall Festival of Homes and History is sponsored by the Historic Beaufort Foundation annually during the last weekend of October. Home tours, lectures, and other events are the highlight of this festival.
