Musicians, dance troupes, painters, singers, actors and shows, etc. from around the world entertain guests at various venues throughout the city and the region. One of the top events on the Charleston calendar.
May 23 - June 8, 2008 - Piccolo Spoleto - This festival runs concurrently with Spoleto USA and focuses on music and theatre in venues all over the Charleston area. WIth over 700 events in 17 days, Piccolo features many events that are geared for children and numerous events that are free or inexpensive.
May 26 - June 6 - Grace Episcopal Church's Tea Room - During the Spoleto Festival, the Grace Episcopal Church downtown welcomes visitors for lunch and tea in the church meeting room. An inexpensive meal, with the proceeds going to the church.
