Spring is the absolute best time to visit DFW - the summer may be vacation season, but in the Metroplex the highs regularly hit 105 with high humidity, and even the locals won't venture outside without air conditioning. In spring, especially late March/early April, the temperatures are at a comfortable 70 degrees, and a bit windy. Everything's in bloom and the weather is at its best.
