The falls or "fall" - there is one - off the main highway is really nice and great for a photo opportunity. They look great to send to family members/friends with your family members standing in front of the falls. And it's free - no admission charge. It is kind of tricky finding where to go and park, you have to go under to the other side of the freeway and loop back around, constantly looking for the blue & white signs that say "The Falls." You actually park in a small area along the shoulder of the feter road and walk up to the falls.
Also, behind Wichita Bend RV Park, a city RV park near the falls that is very inexpensive ($10 night) , there is a swing bridge that's fun to walk over, and it leads to a nicely kept city park, with more photo opportunities around flowers, brightly colored hot pepper plants, etc. It would be a fun place to ride a bike and would also be great for dog walking.
There is a Texas Travel Info Center near the park and the falls with visible signage on the highway, I-44, that probably can provide additional info.
If you have time, pass the falls, take the exit for "seymour hwy, A.K.A. 5th St" and head west a mile or so and you come to an intersection to take you back north to the "Lucy Park" entrance that was mentioned earlier. Plenty or parking there, and an easy and nice walk to the falls rom the park. Also all free to enter and park. The river that the falls are on is called the Wichita river. The falls were constructed in the 80s so as to give the town an answer to the commonly asked question, "what falls"? The entire park is nice as well and well kept.
