The Lake Champlain Transportation Company runs three (3) seperate ferry crossing across Lake Champlain to connect Vermont with New York State.

The northern most crossing at Grande Isle VT connects to Plattsburg NY, this is the only year round ferry that runs 24 hours a day.  (Crossing time is 12 Minutes).

The mid-lake ferry connects Burlington VT to Port Kent NY.  This is the most scenic of crossings, and only runs in the summertime from late May thru mid October (Crossing time is 1 Hour).

The southern crossing connects Charlotte VT to Essex NY, and runs year round, although not 24 hours a day.  (Crossing time is 20 Minutes).
