The Torre de San Salvador is located at Calle El Salvador. This tower is similar to the Tower of San Martin in its structure and decoration and was built between 1320 and 1330, together with the Church of San Salvador. The Tower of San Martin is slightly older. However it was rebuilt in 1677 after it collapsed. The tower design follows the Almohade minaret tradition because it really consists of two concentric towers that are separated by one meter. However its ground plan is rectangular and it has a ribbed vault in its inner passageway. There are 119 steps from the base to the bell tower. At the base there is a door with a pointed arch. The tower is decorated with ceramic tiles in green and white that form eight point stars. The tower has several levels bordered with tiling in rhomboid patterns, borders and semi-circular arches, decorated with white and green tiles.
