This is actually located right next to the Norfolk Airport, a few miles technically from Virginia Beach, but is well worth the visit.  Acres and acres of splendid botanical gardens will enthrall any nature/garden enthusiast.  In the spring when the Azalias bloom....its beyond belief in beauty.  But the weather is mild enough that you can enjoy this place most any day of the year.

There is also a rose garden, Japanese Garden, and many other specialty gardens.

Entrance fee less than $10....and a nature lover's paradise.  You'll see birds and beauty.  Weddings can be performed there as well.  Only drawback, is the occasional sound of jets taking off.
