Spokane 's dining options range from mediocre to excellent.  The price you pay will be less compared to a NY, London, or other big cities.  Most are within the 10-20 USD range per dish.  Stick to some of these top places; there are not many great ethnic options in Spokane

Top Choices:

Downtown area:

Clinkerdagger's- Across Riverfront park by the falls.  Good Steaks and American fare.   Make reservations ahead and ask for a window table.  Great views.

Europa- Good Italian food and Calzones.  Nice atmosphere.  You can also sit at one of the tables or couches in the bar. 

Niko's Greek and Middle Eastern Restaurant.  Some TripAdvisor members who have been to many Greek restaurants throughout the world have said this is one of their favorites. 725 W. Riverside - One block south from Riverpark Square - Across from Hotel Lusso & Davenport Hotel area

Milfords- Good Seafood, they print their menu daily based on what the fisherman bring in from the coast. Cyrus O'Leary's - Great Pies with decent American food at moderate prices.  Good place to take the kids.  

Mizuna - Great for vegetarians and the health conscious.  Favorite includes the portabella mushroom burger and appetizers.

South Hill

1.  Luna's - Good gourmet option for vegetarians and breakfast.   Good variety of pizza's from their apple wood oven.  If you’re a meat eater try the Corned beef and hash.  

2.  Lindamanns- just south of Manito on grand.  Walk there for a good cup of coffee.  Also good selection of gourmet salads and sandwiches.

Fast Food: Dicks Hamburgers Breakfast Old European Breakfast house.  Authentic European breakfast, large portions, good food, at great prices.  Try the Hungarian Goulash.  Two locations one in Spokane valley and other North Side on Division.  North side location is closer to downtown.

Breakfast. Franks Diner, 1506 W. 2nd. A vintage railroad car with counter and booth seating. Ample and tasty food with good service. It's great fun to sit at the counter and watch the cook work the grill. The food is really excellent.
