Downtown Astoria is the place to find many shops of every kind.  Steven’s Fine Clothing has been around for many, many years, and features fine name-brand apparel for men and women.  If you want a small, boutique shop, the Four Seasons offers unique clothing, scarves, shoes and handbags. Let It Rain is a great little boutique where you can purchase raingear and umbrellas while in Astoria.

At the Sunday Market, open 10:00am - 2:00pm every Sunday from May-October, you can purchase fresh, local produce, photography, and much, much more.  The market is located on 12th Street in front of the Hotel Elliott. There are also many fresh flowers to choose from, and some wine to sample from Bon Jovi, a local wine merchant.

Lindstrom’s Bakery in downtown Astoria is the place to go for your fresh baked goods.  Breads, cakes, pies, etc. are in abundance here and will satisfy that sweet tooth.

If it’s fine art you’re after, the Valley Bronze Gallery is a fine art gallery where you can view gorgeous pieces of art.  If all of this shopping has made you tired, go to the Columbia River Day Spa for a pedicure.  Here you will be given the royal treatment in pampering.  Facials, herbal wraps and massage are all offered here in the beautifully renovated old bank building across the street from the Hotel Elliott.

No article about shopping in Astoria would be complete without mention of seafood, long a favorite take-home product for  visitors to the area.  And Josephson's, located on Marine Drive, is a good place to shop for it.  In business for over 80 years, Josephson's carries a wide variety of fresh, smoked, and canned seafood choices.
