Music? There are two very important festivals in Summer: the prestigious Eastern Music Festival that brings worldly known musicians from all over the world and locally produced Fringe Festival. Greensboro has its own Symphony Orchestra that holds performances at the War Memorial Auditorium in the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. Check out the Complex website at http://www.greensborocoliseum.com/ for a schedule of shows by the Orchestra and touring artists. The fall calendar includes presentations as diverse as Mexican Juan Gabriel' concert to American Idol Live 2006 show. The Opera Company also has its presentations at this complex.

Theater fan? Check out the Carolina Theatre where the city government funded productions, which range from musical to children theatre, are staged. If you are dinner-theater fan, you’ll have your share with Barn Dinner Theatre. And if an experimental theater follower, take a look at Broach Theatre.

Finally, check the schedule of events at the universities at Greensboro, mainly the University of North Carolina Concert Series.
