Greensboro is a great place for art, and arts and crafts shopping. Begin at Greensboro Cultural Center at Festival Park located as 200 N. Davie Street. Stroll along this huge art complex and pick you favorite artwork at any of the art galleries such as the African American Atelier and the Greensboro Artist’s League Gallery where you will find artifacts, paintings and sculptures produced by local artists.

Visit Guilford Native American Art Gallery’s gift shop to buy Native American artwork or memorabilia related to the gallery’s exhibitions.

If you visit Greensboro in April don’t miss the Spring Show organized by the Gilmore Shows’ Carolina Craftsmen. Initiated by the Gilmore family 33 years ago, it is one of 11 Craftsmen's Classics shows held year round in North and South Carolina and Virginia. It features craftsmen from the Piedmot region that offer magnificent quilts, jewelry, toys and wood work that are direct heritage products from European settlements in the region in the 17th an 18th centuries.

At the African American Heritage Extravaganza in March you will find artwork inspired in African motives and techniques. The fair takes place at Greensboro Cultural Center.
