Tucson has a huge variety of restraurants and most of them will take reservations for large parties. The easiest place if you are with a big group from out of town and want to choose food options ahead of time is El Parador. It is centrally located and has a very professional staff who will work with you to make your evening great, and can seat 10-300 people. The food is standard good mexican, with great salsa and wonderful sangria and margaritas. Their atmostphere is very unique, with trees growing inside the place and a live salsa band on Friday nights.
Other places that accomodate large groups are Old Pueblo Grill (central and northwest locations) and Gentle Bens in the University area. Both will work with you whether you want to order off the menu or have a fixed meal, and both have rooms for groups. El Charro on Broadway has a few rooms for groups and delicious sonoran mexican food. The original (downtown) El Charro location can seat about 15 people comfortably inside. The Fox and Hound on the northwest side is an upscale sports bar with rooms you can rent out.
Other places that will accomodate groups of around twenty people well include BJs, Firebirds, the Risky Business on Craycroft, and OK Corral on the north east side. These places allow the whole group to sit together (instead of at seperate booths or tables) and will take reservations. If your group is less than twenty people, the majority of restaurants in Tucson will be happy to accomodate you.
