The Alamo Quarry Market has got a whole slew of stores and entertainment options that are a bit more mainstream than say, Artisan's Alley which is full of specialty shops housed in turn-of-the-century buildings. The Shops at La Cantera is an open-air marketplace with specialy shops and high-end chains like Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom's. As for malls, you won't be lacking any options - from North Star Mall, Ingram Park Mall and Rivercenter Mall, you can get your fill of your Old Navy, Saks, and Macy's.
