By Air
If you're flying to Springfield, you can fly into Bradley International Airport (located in Windsor Locks, CT) which is about a half hour drive from Springfield, or into Boston's Logan Airport, which is about 2 hours away. Bradley is a smaller airport, and easier to navigate, but it does not have as many arrivals as Logan. Bradley also offers taxi service to Springfield which costs roughly about $40, depending on the exact location.
If your flight for some reason doesn't go into either of these airports, or you want to shop around for cost savings, other airport options include: TF Green Airport, Warwick, RI (about 2 hours away); and Albany International Airport, Albany, NY (about 2 hours away).
By Train
There is also Amtrak service to downtown Springfield. The train station is right in the center of town.
By Car
By car, Springfield is accessible from I-91 and is close to the Mass Turnpike (I-90).
