Arizona Snowbowl is a great "Mom & Pop" style ski resort.  If your looking for an Aspen, Whistler or Teluride you won't find it here.  (You need to go to Aspen, Whistler or Teluride for that!)  What you will find is an unpretentious but fabulous little resort that has something for everyone.  Expert skiers and boarders will stay primarily on the Agassiz Lift.  It serves all the expert terrain on the mountain, and with 2000 vertical feet, experts and advanced intermediates enjoy a nice long run with multiple options.  The shorter Sunset Lift serves 650 vertical feet of intermediate terrain as well as the Sunset Terrain Park.  The terrain park is complete with multiple jumps, fun boxes and rails.  Beginners are served by two short lifts near the Hart Prarie Lodge. Don't expect high speed detachable lifts.  All the lifts are of the slower variety, but the longest ride (on the Agassiz Lift) is still only about 15 minutes.  The crowds aren't usually a problem, especially on weekdays.  Lines for rental equipment can be long especially in the mornings and on weekends. You can save time by renting from some of the outfitters in Flagstaff.   There are two lodges on the mountain (Hart Prarie and Agassiz) both offer food, a full bar, and indoor and outdoor seating.  Food is pretty standard (burgers, dogs, fries and chicken nuggets) yet expensive.  There are a variety of lift ticket discounts for children, seniors, military personell, large groups and off peak skier days.   Visit the resorts webpage for up to date rates.  Arizona Snowbowl delivers the basics well - it's a good resort with varied terrain and friendly people working there.
