Restaurants inside the Waikiki area are as follows:

Cheeseburger in Paradise: Directly across from Waikiki Beach on the ground floor of the Foster Tower. You might be able to eat it by yourself, but usually there is more than plenty for two people. The burgers are great, and there is a huge amount of french fries. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is entertainment nightly. Get there early, and sit back, eat, and enjoy the atmosphere.

Chuck's Steakhouse has good Mai-Tais, great steaks and a serve yourself salad bar.  This is a relaxed place to linger over a drink and watch the beach scene.   Also has a great breakfast.  Sit on the verandah for the best view of the beach and diamond head at sunset.  You'll feel like you have truly arrived in Honolulu. 

Duke's Canoe Club has a nice breakfast. Great salad bar.  Good array of food, good service, and the most fantastic views of the Pacific Ocean, when you get a table by the beach!!!   Try their Lava Flow--it's the best in Waikiki.Diners love the "cooked to order eggs" and  their eggs benedict. 

Keolani's:  Corner of Kuhio and Kaiulani.  Great Thai and American food.  Many vegetarian options.

Lulu's: Directly across from Waikiki beach.  Corner of Kapahulu and Kalakaua Ave.  The restaurant is located on the second floor and has amazing views of the beach.  Try the stuffed french toast for breakfast.

Marie's Organic Cafe: Corner of Kalakaua and Beachwalk on the 1st floor.  Walk through the building past Planet Hollywood.  Fantastic organic food!  Try the veggie sandwich or macadamia nut pasta.  The fruit smoothies and banana nut cakes are amazing.

The Pineapple Room located on the 3rd floor of Macy's in Ala Moana Shopping center has a relaxed and elegant atmosphere. It has excellent fish and meat dishes with an emphasis on fusion cuisine combining Asian, Hawaiian, and Western styles of cooking. This is one of the restaurants owned by renowned chef Alan Wong.

Oceanarium Restaurant at the Pacific Beach Hotel: Inside this restaurant, there is part of a 280,000 gallon "fish tank", that is called the Oceanarium. It holds a vast number of diffrent types of fish. The breakfast buffet has various types of food: hot, cold, cereal, juices, fruits, sausages, fried rice, meats, breads, desserts,etc....you will not leave this breakfast buffet hungry!

Sam Choy's located near Diamond Head is known for their local specialty, their poke, but also has other excellent fish dishes and desserts.

Seaside Bar and Grill: This small and informal restaurant will give you simple but nourishing meals and at really decent prices too. They always have "specials" going on there. This restaurant is located on Seaside and Kuhio Ave. A little off the beaten path,but it is right on TheBus schedule, so you really cannot miss it. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner with the budget person in mind.
