This attraction, more commonly known as Casa Garden, is included in the collection of attractions listed under the "Historic Centre of Macau" UNESCO World Heritage Site and is located near the Camoes Garden and other UNESCO sights such as St. Anthony's Church and the Protestant Cemetery.  

This lovely villa with its surrounding garden was built as a summer residence of a wealthy Portuguese merchant and was later rented to the East India Company.  Currently it is owned by the Fundação Oriente, a worldwide organization based in Portugual that locally works to enhance cultural and artistic wealth.  The foundation uses the building for meetings, exhibitions and social events.
